I'm facing a frustrating problem with my Yahoo email that I can't seem to resolve. Apparently, when someone saves my email address with a nickname, it shows up on their end when I email them. I thought I had set my nickname correctly to just my name, signed out of all devices, and logged back in, but nothing has changed. I'm worried that this saved nickname might be spreading to all my contacts. How can I stop this from happening?

That sounds really frustrating! Unfortunately, once someone saves a nickname for your email, it can be tough to change. Basically, when they send you an email, that nickname shows up instead of your actual name, and there’s little you can do from your end to change it back for them unless they manually update it. One option could be to have a conversation with your friends and whoever has saved that nickname to ask them to change it.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking! I guess it boils down to asking people nicely to update their contacts.
