I've noticed that the Google Play Games Service is still running in my Task Manager even though I've uninstalled the emulator that originally installed it. It's taking up a lot of resources on my low-end laptop, which has 4GB of RAM and an Intel Celeron N4000 processor. Any tips on how to completely remove this service?

It sounds like you might still have Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) installed. If that's the case, removing it could also remove the Google Play Games Service. You can check your installed apps under Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Look for anything related to WSA or Google Play and uninstall it from there.
Just a heads up, be cautious when modifying anything in your BIOS or making changes that could affect your storage setup—always back up your data first! If you're still having issues after uninstalling, let me know and we can dig deeper.
