How can I rename all my SharePoint site URLs after our company name change?

Hey everyone! I need some help with renaming all of our SharePoint sites to match our new company name. Is there a script out there or any good documentation that explains how to go about this? Any insights would be appreciated!

I've gone through this process with a few tenants, and it was pretty straightforward! Once you rename, the old SharePoint URL automatically redirects to the new one. Best of luck with your transition!

Just remember these two key points: 1) When you rename your SharePoint domain, a redirect will be set up at the old address, but it only lasts for a year. 2) You can only rename your domain once without needing to submit a support request for additional changes.

Make sure you're using a Commercial Tenant and not a government one! Unfortunately, tenants like GCC and GCC-High can't change their domain names for SharePoint, which is really a bummer.
