I recently got a used Sharp TV, model 55' 4K Smart TV (either LC-55N620CU or LC-60N6200U). The previous owner customized the input names, which confuses me when I try to select the HDMI input for my video game. The manual doesn't provide instructions on how to change these names, and I've looked at various online guides, but they all use different models, making it hard to follow. I've gone through all the menu options I could think of, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me out?

I tried what you suggested, but my settings look totally different than what I've seen online. In my settings, I see sections like Picture, Sound, and Network, but nothing about renaming inputs. I can see the input names when I press the input button, but I can't find any way to rename them through the menus.
You should see a box on the screen with all your inputs when you press the input button. There might be some colored buttons you can use to make a selection. If you're able to capture screens when you press the input and menu buttons, it would make it easier to guide you on how to navigate.
To rename the inputs on a Sharp TV, you usually need to go to Settings > Inputs (or Channels & Inputs). From there, select the HDMI port you want to change and choose 'Change Name' to pick a preset or enter a custom name. On some models, just highlighting the input and hitting the Menu or OK button should bring up an 'Edit' or 'Change Name' option directly.
