How can I reset my BIOS password?

I'm having trouble with my L590 because I've forgotten the BIOS password. I tried using a BIOS reprogrammer, but it seems incompatible. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can reset the password?

The best method I've used is to take out both the main battery and the CMOS battery. Before plugging them back in, press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. This usually helps clear any residual power and might reset the BIOS. Let me know if that works for you!

Removing the CMOS battery has worked in the past, but newer systems might not clear the password this way. If your system is custom-built, it could still be effective. Usually, there's also a reset jumper on the motherboard you can check out.
