I need help figuring out how to remove my SSD from the mounting bracket it's currently in. I've checked and there are no screws holding it in place, so I'm assuming it should come out easily. I've included some pictures for reference. Would it be okay to pry it off gently with a flathead screwdriver? I just want to avoid breaking anything since I plan to reuse this SSD in my new PC until the newer NVMe drives drop in price.

It sounds like your SSD might be stuck down with double-sided tape. Just be careful if you decide to use a flathead screwdriver to pry it off, as you don’t want to damage the SSD or the mounting bracket. If it’s taped down, you should be able to wiggle it a bit while gently lifting.

If it is tape, then maybe try using a little bit of heat from a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive before prying. Just keep the heat moving, so you don't overdo it!
