I'm having trouble selecting multiple folders in Windows 11 File Explorer. I've tried using CTRL and SHIFT clicks, but nothing seems to work. Is there a specific setting I need to change to make this function work?

It could be that one of your modifier keys (like CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT) is stuck. Try pressing all of them to see if that resolves the issue.
Make sure to check if you have item checkboxes enabled. In Explorer, click on View, then Show, and select Item Checkboxes. That might help you select multiple folders more easily!
Have you tried pressing CTRL + A to select all? It might be quick and easy if you're looking to select everything at once.
Just a thought — were you perhaps trying to select folders from a File Select dialog in another program? Sometimes it's easy to mix those up. Make sure you’re definitely in File Explorer.
