How can I set Num Lock to stay on by default?

I'm always using numbers, so having the Num Lock turned off by default is really inconvenient for me. Is there a way to set it to remain on every time I start my computer? I've heard there might be some settings in the BIOS. Can anyone explain how to do this?

Yeah, BIOS options can help you out with this. Restart and get into the BIOS by pressing the right key; you want to find that Num Lock setting and switch it to 'On'. It's a simple fix!

Just remember, that setting only takes effect before Windows loads, so be aware of that!

There should definitely be an option in your BIOS to keep Num Lock enabled on startup. Make sure you’ve checked it out!

You can typically fix this by changing a setting in your BIOS. Just restart your computer and press a specific key (like Delete, F2, F10, or Esc) during the startup to access the BIOS menu. Look for something called "Boot Up NumLock Status" or "NumLock on Boot" and set it to 'Enabled'. After that, save your changes and restart your computer!

Just a heads up, the BIOS setting works before Windows starts. Once you're in Windows, it might turn off again unless you adjust some registry settings.
