How can I set up a Minecraft Bedrock server in Docker on my NAS?

I already have Docker running on a NAS with Jellyfin, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to configure and start a Minecraft Bedrock server container. I'm looking for simple, step-by-step instructions, including how to connect to the server once it's running. Detailed technical guides have been difficult for me to follow, so an easy Docker Compose example would be especially helpful.

A container manager such as Crafty Controller can make this easier if you prefer a web interface. It can manage the server files, startup settings, console, backups, and connections without requiring you to edit as many Docker commands manually.

A good starting point is the Minecraft Docker server image that includes Bedrock support. Its Docker Compose instructions are fairly straightforward: create a folder for the server, add a compose file, set the edition to Bedrock, choose the server version and acceptance settings, then start it with Docker Compose. It also explains which folders and ports need to be exposed.

Since Docker is already running, you can skip the Docker installation instructions. Focus on creating a separate project folder for the Bedrock container and mapping a host folder to the containerโs data directory so the world and settings survive restarts. Youโll also need to publish the Bedrock serverโs UDP port, normally 19132, on your NAS and allow it through the NAS firewall.

MapleFox42: Docker is already installed and working on the NAS. My main problem is understanding the configuration and how players connect after the server starts.
