I need to buy a Windows laptop for SolidWorks because I've heard it may not run reliably on Linux. I'm concerned about unnecessary preinstalled apps using system resources, Windows data collection, and being required to use an online account or provide extra information during the first setup. What's the safest way to configure Windows 11 with fewer unwanted apps and stronger privacy without breaking features that SolidWorks needs?
