I'm looking for ways to play games from my living room, but I have a few challenges. My PC is about 7 meters away from the TV, with two thick walls in between, making it difficult to connect. Right now, I'm mostly playing "Deep Rock Galactic" with a controller, but I want to be able to play other compatible games too. I tried using a Fire Stick 4K, but it crashed during gameplay. I've got a secondary PC with a 9600K and GTX 1070, but it's quite noisy, and I really prefer not to move it into the living room. Any recommendations or solutions? Thanks!

Streaming could be a good alternative. They used to sell a device called the Steam Link for this purpose. You can even consider using an Android device, but running an Ethernet connection might help reduce latency. Another option is to build a small form factor PC for less noise and space.
Building a small PC sounds like a fun project, plus it could handle the heavy lifting without being super noisy!
Have you considered getting a Steam Deck? It's pretty compact and works well for couch gaming!
You might want to try a wireless USB for your controller and set your PC to launch Steam in Big Picture mode on startup. If possible, bring your PC closer to the TV, or invest in a long HDMI cable. Those are solid starting options! You can find more tips on YouTube about turning your PC into a couch console.

Yeah, I used to have a Steam Link and it worked well for couch gaming! Just make sure your network is solid.
