I'm trying to transfer everything from my old laptop to my new one, which is actually the same model. The problem I'm facing is syncing my Windows settings to make it resemble the old setup. I've looked up several solutions, but nothing seems to work. Once I find a fix for this, I can start reinstalling my programs and moving my photos. Just to add, setting up new devices can be really stressful for me, and I'm autism spectrum, so this challenge is particularly tough right now. I want to replicate everything, like my desktop background and exact settings, but I'm hitting a wall. Last time I did this, it was so much smoother, and I'm feeling really overwhelmed.

If the hardware is exactly the same, you could try moving the boot drive from your old laptop to the new one directly. Just make sure you check your BitLocker settings before you do that, especially if you had encryption set up. It might allow you to start right where you left off!

That sounds great, but unfortunately, my old laptop is totally out of commission. The drive is messed up beyond repair and I can't even use it for gaming anymore. It's been super frustrating!
