How can I stop all these spam calls and texts from data brokers?

I've recently discovered that my phone number, email, and home address are listed on over 200 data broker sites, which explains the barrage of spam calls and texts I've been dealing with for years. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm unsure about the best way to remove my information from these sites. Some of them have 'opt-out' pages, but there are so many that it feels overwhelming to do them all one by one. I'm looking for reliable methods or services—manual or automated—to help reduce my spam calls and texts. Has anyone successfully tackled this problem?

Honestly, at this point, it might just be easier to get a new phone number. Spam calls often come in waves, so even if you try to block them, it might just be a temporary solution.

If the spam calls keep coming, why not have a little fun with them? When I get a spam call, I like to answer in a silly way, like saying I'm from "Debbie's Custom Dildos"—it's completely amusing!

You should definitely look into the National Do Not Call Registry. While it may not be super effective, it's worth a shot. Also, consider setting your phone to silence or block unknown numbers. Just keep in mind that this might cause some legit calls to get missed too!

That’s a good idea. I’ve had some luck with the Do Not Call list, but yes, blocking unknown callers can save you from a lot of hassle!
