How Can I Stop Intel From Automatically Installing Outdated Graphics Drivers?

I've been having a frustrating issue where Intel keeps automatically installing outdated graphics drivers when I leave my computer unattended. The screen goes black for a moment, and then these old drivers install without any warning or notification, leading to some crazy graphical glitches. Does anyone know how I can prevent these outdated drivers from being forced onto my system?

I faced the same issue before! I just disabled Windows Updates completely to stop it from automatically updating my drivers. That worked for me when I had glitches too.

Have you checked how the drivers are being installed? It might be through Windows Update or the Intel Graphics Software. It’s worth looking into those settings.
GlitchyGamer77: I’m not sure how they install either. It just happens, and I see the screen turn black briefly but no alerts or anything.

IntelInsider88: I did that too, but I actually set it so that Windows can’t mess with those specific drivers anymore. It helped.
