I'm having an issue where when I'm on a Discord call—or even in other apps like WhatsApp—my friends can hear videos that are playing on my computer. I've already tried using different headphones, but the problem persists. Does anyone have suggestions for fixing this?

Check your Discord settings! Go to User Settings, then Voice & Video. Make sure your input device is your microphone and the output device is your headphones. Also, turn off Noise Suppression (under Voice Processing) and see if that helps. If issues continue, try switching to the Legacy Audio Subsystem.
You might want to double-check your microphone settings in the app you're using. Sometimes, system settings can override app settings, causing your mic to pick up all sounds. It could also help to mute the volume of the video when in calls to see if that prevents it from transmitting.
