I've been dealing with a frustrating issue on my laptop where every time I try to scroll up or down using the arrow keys, it keeps locking onto links or messages instead of just scrolling smoothly. It's been driving me nuts! I'm using Windows 11 and I really want to find out if there's a way to turn off this snapping feature. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would really appreciate your help!

Another option is clicking directly on the scrollbar. Once you do that, the up and down buttons should move the page without any issue.
If you're having trouble with the arrow keys, try using the touchpad! Two fingers moving up and down should allow you to scroll. But I totally get it, using the arrows feels way more practical.
Are you dealing with something called caret browsing? If that's the case, you might want to look into disabling that. There’s a tutorial on how to do it if you need help!
You can check the Settings app! Navigate to System and then look for the Multitasking section. There’s an option to turn off the snapping feature there. Give it a shot!
That doesn't seem right though, isn’t that just about windows resizing when you drag them around?

I hear you! I still prefer using the arrow keys—right now, I mostly just stick to the scroll bar.
