I'm having an issue with a new app called Files that keeps popping up every time I start my computer. I only use File Explorer, and I want to figure out how to prevent this Files app from launching. Any advice would be appreciated!

If that doesn't work, consider uninstalling the app if you really don’t need it. You can find it in the settings under Apps. Just scroll through the list, find Files, and click on uninstall.
I’d also recommend looking into your system settings for any options related to default apps. Sometimes, these changes will redirect you to new apps like that. It's worth a shot!
One way to tackle this is to check your startup programs. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, then go to the Startup tab. From there, see if the Files app is listed and disable it if you find it. That should stop it from opening when you start your PC.
