I'm looking to connect my Nintendo Switch to my computer so I can stream games to Twitch. I've already connected the HDMI ports and have plugged the dock into a power outlet, but I'm unsure what to do next. Can anyone help me out?

You can't just plug the Switch dock's HDMI into your PC's HDMI port because those ports only output video, they don't input any signals. To capture the video from your Switch, you'll need a capture card that connects to your PC. You can find both external USB capture devices or internal cards, like an Elgato, which are quite popular.
So, do you recommend a specific capture card? I’m seeing a lot of options.
