How can I take a quick screenshot of just one monitor in Windows 11?

I'm trying to find a straightforward way to grab a screenshot of only one monitor on Windows 11. When I press the print screen button, it opens up the snipping tool menu, which is fine for using the snipping tool but really slows me down when I just want a quick capture. I know about the Windows key + print screen shortcut, but that captures all monitors together, and I would prefer to avoid the hassle of cropping later. Is there a way to take a one-monitor screenshot with a simple hotkey?

Consider giving ShareX a shot! It's a third-party tool that lets you assign hotkeys for specific monitor captures, so you can quickly grab what you need without any fuss.

You might want to try using Shift + Windows key + S. It brings up the snipping tool directly, but you'll just have to select the area to capture. I get that it opens the same interface, but it’s still a quick way to grab what you need right away!

I hear you, but it feels just as slow to me since I have to select the area every time.
