How Can I Tell if My GPU is Properly Seated?

I'm a first-time builder and just installed an ASUS RX7600 graphics card, but I'm worried that it's not seated correctly. The GPU has a really big plate on it, and I don't hear or feel the "L" shaped latch click when I try to secure it. I can't seem to push it back into place, and I'm nervous about turning on my PC. What should I do?

It sounds like you might need to double-check the seating. Taking a picture of the GPU in its slot would really help others give you better advice. If you can, try to get some clear, well-lit shots and share them.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try to get some decent photos soon.

Yeah, pics are crucial! Just make sure the lighting is good and the focus is clear so people can really see how it's seated.

Did you upload a picture yet? It would make it a lot easier to help you out if we could see what you're working with!

I'm having trouble uploading them, but I did manage to get some here: https://imgur.com/a/lRdQVeq.
