I'm trying to figure out if my system is compatible with X86. I have an Intel Core i3-7020U CPU running at 2.30GHz and 4GB of RAM, with a 932GB HDD and Intel HD Graphics 620. My system type says it's a 64-bit operating system with an x64-based processor. Can anyone confirm if I'm looking at a compatible X86 setup?

Yep, your system is compatible! The x64 designation is a clear sign.
You're good to go, but keep in mind that with 4GB of RAM, you might want to look for a lightweight Linux distro to get the best performance.
I was actually thinking of upgrading to 8GB since Windows 10 support will end soon. I really want to keep using my laptop with the current hardware!
Yes, your Intel i3 processor is definitely an X86 CPU. You should have no problem running Linux on your machine!
Thank you!
The mention of 'x64' in your system type indicates that it is the 64-bit version of X86, which is commonly referred to as x86-64. So yes, you are compatible!
Thanks! I did a quick search and it mentioned x86-64, but I guess if it only says x64, then I'm good.

Thanks a lot! I tried looking it up but got a bit confused.
