How can I turn my wired internet into a wireless signal?

I'm currently working out of town at a company trailer that has an internet connection, but it's only wired and plugged directly into the TV. I want to convert this into a wireless signal so that I can use less data while I'm away. What options do I have?

If you're looking to pick something up, you could always go to Walmart and just explain your situation; they should help you find a basic router. Just be prepared that sometimes the staff may not be the most technically inclined.

Is the internet connection just through Ethernet, or does the TV have its own built-in router? That could change things a bit in terms of how you set up your wireless connection.

A travel router could be a solid option! I recommend checking out the GL.iNet travel router. It's compact and relatively affordable, making it easy to set up a wireless network on the go.

Be careful not to just grab any random router and start connecting things. If your company has a tech support person or a whole IT team, reach out to them first. They might have a router available for you or even an existing wireless network that you can't see at the moment. If you try to set up your own router without their permission, it might be blocked by their security measures, and you could end up wasting your time and money.
