I'm using Windows 11 on my laptop and I have a specific issue with the number lock key. I want to keep the number lock activated, but the light indicating its status is really annoying. Ideally, I'd love for the light to only be on when number lock is off, but if that's not possible, I just want to turn the light off completely. Is there any way to adjust this setting in Windows 11?

What kind of laptop do you have? Depending on your model, the option to control the number lock light might be in the BIOS settings or through the keyboard driver software. Some keyboards even have shortcuts to toggle the light, so it’s worth checking.
If you're okay with just not seeing it, you could cut a small piece of black electrical tape and cover the light. I did this with another bright light on my laptop, and I totally forgot about it after a while. It makes everything much less distracting!
You might not find exactly what you're looking for, but here's a simple workaround: instead of digging around in settings, check out some blackout stickers on Amazon. They can block the light without altering any settings on your laptop. It’s an easy fix!
Thanks for the suggestion! I hope to find a solution that doesn't require me to resort to stickers, but it's good to know that option is available.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5i. I looked into the BIOS like you suggested, but I couldn’t find anything about the number lock light. How do I access the keyboard's driver or software?
