I'm planning to record videos for YouTube with my phone, but I'd like to use my Blue Yeti for better audio. Since the microphone connects through USB and doesn't record audio by itself, what's the easiest way to connect it to the phone? Do I need a special USB adapter, and are there any compatibility or power issues I should know about?

Another simple option is to record the video on your phone and record the audio separately on a computer or another compatible device. Start both recordings at the same time, make a clap or other sharp sound, and line up the audio and video during editing. That’s why a clapboard is useful.
