How can I view hidden files in Wine’s file manager?

I'm trying to play modded Cyberpunk and have Vortex set up, but when I open the file manager to select the game's location, it doesn't display the hidden '.local' folder. I tried pressing Ctrl + H to show hidden files, but that didn't work. I've also attempted manually downloading mods, but they haven't worked either, even after extracting them like I did in Windows. I really need to get Vortex working properly with my Bazzite OS!

You can use Protontricks, which should be pre-installed on your Bazzite system. Just select your game and hit 'select default wine prefix', then run 'winecfg'. In the 'Drives' tab, there's an option to 'show dot files'—enable that, and it should allow you to view hidden files in the Wine file selector!

To access hidden files in Wine, you need to go to your user folder, which should look like `Z:home`. Rather than using Ctrl + H, try typing '.local' directly into the file name bar at the bottom of the file manager window. That should let you see the folder you need!

I tried that and nothing happened, unfortunately.

Have you tried right-clicking on the file manager? There should be a menu, but I don't think it directly mentions hidden files. You might find options like 'Refresh' or 'Properties' that could help, but they might not do what you're looking for.

I see those options, but they don’t show anything about hidden files.
