How clearly are the motherboard and cables labeled, and how easy is it to figure out where everything plugs in?

Power-supply cables can look less obvious than the motherboard connectors, so match each cable to the label and connector type rather than guessing. The CPU power, motherboard power, GPU power, and drive cables are different, and they should fit without excessive pressure.
It’s generally pretty easy. The motherboard manual explains where each cable goes, and the board itself usually has small labels printed next to the connectors. Take your time and use the manual as you go.
Most connectors are shaped or keyed so they only fit in the correct orientation and location. Don’t force anything—if a plug doesn’t slide in naturally, double-check the connector and the manual.
The only part that tends to be fiddly is the case’s front-panel wiring. The power switch, reset switch, and LED leads may be separate little plugs that connect to a group of tiny pins, usually along the bottom edge of the motherboard. The manual will show the exact arrangement.
