How do I access the Reddit API for my app?

I'm currently working on a SaaS project and need to use the Reddit API for it. However, I've encountered a problem. When I go to the Reddit app preferences page to create my app and submit the necessary details, clicking 'OK' doesn't seem to work—I'm just directed to the guidelines instead. I've already reached out to Reddit support and sent an email, but they haven't responded in over 18 hours. If anyone has insights or solutions, I would really appreciate your help!

It seems like Reddit has shut down API access for third-party apps for a while now, which could explain why you're having trouble. That's why many of the popular third-party Reddit apps disappeared. Just a thought, but it might be wise to investigate whether the API is still available for your intended use.

Yeah, Reddit has been restrictive about third-party apps for a long time now. You might need to check in with their latest guidelines or see if they've changed their policies recently. It could be that access is more limited than before.
