I'm planning to sell my laptop to a friend, but I want to make sure my email address is fully removed from it first. I've already deleted my Microsoft account from the laptop, but when I try to access OneDrive, it still autofills my email and doesn't even prompt for a password. Additionally, my email is saved as a profile in Microsoft Edge, and I'm having trouble deleting that profile too. Is there any way to fully erase my email from the laptop?

Formatting the hard drive and reinstalling the OS is another option, but I understand you want to keep everything on it. You might just have to manage your profiles better instead.

Consider using another device to sign out of your email. If you change your password from your phone, it should log you out on all devices, including the laptop. Just remember that the account will still be visible, but you can make sure you’re logged out.
