I've been given the task of creating a website that showcases my town, but I'm struggling to find good resources to help me get started. Most of the tutorials I've seen so far haven't been very helpful. I really need some simple tips or a solid YouTube tutorial that can guide me through this process.

Before diving into React, do you have a basic understanding of JavaScript? For a simple website, React might be more than you need. HTML5 and CSS3 could be sufficient for what you're trying to accomplish!
You might want to try FreeCodeCamp for some detailed tutorials. They have a lot of great free content that can help you get the hang of things. If you're open to paid options, FrontendMasters has some excellent courses too!
