How do I create desktop shortcuts for published apps in the new Windows app?

I'm trying to find a way to create shortcuts for published applications directly on my desktop using the new Windows app. In the previous version with Remote Desktop, it was easy to search for the published app and create a shortcut from there. However, with the new Windows app, I'm only able to get a shortcut for the Windows app itself. We use Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) where we have access to both a full desktop and published apps. If needed, I can share screenshots for clarity. Essentially, I want a user to be able to click a button and have the app launch automatically. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the new option in the Windows App client! They've added a feature that allows you to create shortcuts directly in the Start Menu. It could be a quick fix for launching your published apps without using the main app interface. Just give it a try!

Thanks for the info! I just saw it in the patch notes too. No need to worry about asking, it's always good to clarify these things!

I used to have shortcuts for published apps with Remote Desktop as well, but since that's going out, you might need to find a workaround. Have you tried checking the application folders directly for a shortcut option? Sometimes they hide options in the menu.
