How do I fix my TV showing a black screen after my son pressed a remote button?

I have a JVC smart TV, and it seems to be functioning normally except that there's no picture. My son pressed a button on the remote, and now whenever we try to play anything, we just see a black screen. The TV is still responsive—we can navigate menus and select apps like Netflix, but there's just no image. I think it might be an easy fix, but my wife and I are at a loss. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It’s worth checking if turning the TV off and then back on helps. Sometimes a simple reset can fix display issues. If that doesn’t work, there might be a setting that got changed accidentally.

Haha, sounds like your son really knew how to press the right button! But seriously, can you share a picture of the remote? That might help us figure out what happened.

Have you tried navigating to the settings and doing a factory reset? Just a heads up, it will erase all your settings, but it might solve the issue.
