A performance overlay suddenly appeared in the top-left corner of my screen after I pressed some keys. It shows CPU and GPU temperatures, fan RPM, power usage in watts, and graphs for both components. Restarting the laptop did not remove it. I'm using an ASUS TUF F16 and would like to know how to disable the overlay.

This looks like a hardware-monitoring overlay from one of the laptop utility tools rather than Windows itself. Check the overlay or on-screen display settings in the utility you use, such as G-Helper, and look for its keyboard shortcut or toggle.
I checked the G-Helper keyboard shortcuts and found the toggle. Turning it off removed the overlay—thanks!
