I want to play Call of Duty and think I may need to update my BIOS, but I'm not sure how to do it. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B550 UD AC, though I don't know its exact hardware revision. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. There are several BIOS downloads available, and I'd like to know which one to choose and how to install it with a USB drive.

The motherboard manual is useful here because it shows the exact Q-Flash menu and USB requirements. The multiple downloads are usually different BIOS releases listed by date, but the correct revision matters more than simply choosing a file from a search result. Double-check the model and revision before starting.

First, find the exact motherboard revision printed directly on the board, such as 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2. Go to Gigabyteโ€™s official support page, select the matching revision, and download the newest BIOS version listed for it. Donโ€™t use a BIOS intended for a different revision.

After downloading the BIOS, format a USB drive as FAT32, extract the downloaded file, and copy the BIOS file to the root of the drive. Restart the computer, enter the BIOS, open the Q-Flash utility, choose the update option, and select the file on the USB drive. Keep the system powered on throughout the process, and avoid updating unless you have a specific reason, since an interrupted BIOS update can cause problems.
