I was trying to optimize Spider-Man Remastered with Process Lasso and accidentally changed CPU affinity settings for all of my processes. I was mainly trying to disable hyper-threading, but now I'm not sure how to restore the normal settings. What's the correct way to reset the affinity for everything?

In Process Lasso, right-click the affected process and open CPU Affinity. Check the settings under the persistent or “Always” option, then restore it to All CPUs or clear the saved rule. You may need to do this for each process that has a custom rule. Changing affinity is not the same as disabling hyper-threading; that is normally done in the motherboard BIOS/UEFI.
You can also restore the setting by opening the process list in Process Lasso, right-clicking the program, choosing CPU Affinity, and selecting the persistent setting that assigns all available logical processors. If you changed a default rule rather than an individual program, check the default CPU-affinity configuration and remove or clear that rule, then restart Process Lasso or Windows.
For a one-time change, Windows Task Manager’s Details tab also lets you right-click a program, choose Set affinity, and select all processors. That change usually applies only to the current process session.
Could you explain the exact steps? I don’t see an option that simply says “reset affinity.”
