How do I update the BIOS for an older HP PC with American Megatrends?

I'm looking for advice on updating the BIOS for my HP desktop PC, which I built between 2007 and 2010. The current BIOS version is 6.05, and it's manufactured by Foxconn. The motherboard uses an Intel LGA 775 socket. I just found out that Foxconn has shut down their support site, so I'm unsure if an update is even possible. It would be great to know if anyone has experience with this or alternative ways to proceed.

I’d be careful with BIOS updates, especially without the original manufacturer's guidance. Using third-party software can risk bricking your motherboard. If you can find the manual or an alternative source, that might help, but it’s best to avoid unknown patches.
