I'm really curious about how other developers approach tracking user interactions during login flows. It seems like a lot of time is invested in optimizing signup forms and checkout processes, while login often gets ignored. Do you monitor metrics like drop-off rates, retries, error types, or the time taken to log in? Or do you generally just check if the authentication succeeded or failed? I'd love to hear how you handle this in your projects and what insights you've gathered!

The approach really depends on your needs. At one job, we tracked everything from button clicks to mouse movements, including time spent on each page. But where I work now, we don’t track anything at all because it’s just not a priority for us.

If we assume it's e-commerce or payment related, I'd think you'd generally want more analytics, wouldn't you?
