How Much Can I Undervolt My 9800x3D?

I'm currently stuck at a -10 undervolt on my 9800x3D using a Noctua L9a cooler from a previous build. I've seen others, like Bitwit, achieving a -40 undervolt with the same CPU. I'm wondering if upgrading to an AIO cooler would make a significant difference. Is it worth it?

Not sure why you'd want to raise your undervolt limit when you're already at a safe level, but it might be worth looking into cooling solutions if you're thinking of overclocking further.

Honestly, switching to an AIO isn't going to add much to your undervolt. I get around -29 undervolt on my 9800x3D with a Royal Pretor 130 air cooler. It's really all about the silicon lottery; some CPUs just perform better than others. You've got a solid CPU for gaming as it is, so I wouldn't stress too much just enjoy your games!

If your goal is to lower temperatures, then yes, an AIO should help with that. But keep in mind, it won't likely improve your undervolt situation directly. At the end of the day, it sounds like you've got it running pretty well already at 4.7GHz and 75°C.
