Hey everyone! I'm a total beginner looking to upgrade my four-year-old PC so I can run Path of Exile smoother. Here's what I currently have:

- CPU: R5 5600
- GPU: RTX 3070 TI
- Storage: 1TB SAMSUNG GEN4 SSD (7000 R/W 5200)
- RAM: 16GB ADATA SPECTRIX D50 RGB DDR4 3600mhz (Dual Channel)
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B550M DS3H
- PSU: 800W FSP HYDRO PRO 80+ Bronze

Any suggestions on what parts I should upgrade?

Since Path of Exile can be CPU-intensive, you might find that your current processor is holding you back. Consider upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D or 5800X3D, but keep in mind they can be hard to find since they aren't in production anymore. That should give you a decent boost!

If you're looking for upgrades, sticking with the X3D CPUs is the best bet if they’re at a fair price. You could also bump your RAM up to 32GB, which might help a bit but wouldn’t be a huge difference.

A solid plan would be to eventually upgrade your GPU first to something like the RTX 5070 or RX 9070XT. After that, you could look at swapping the CPU for the Ryzen 5700X3D or 5800X3D when you can find one.

Got it! Any advice on newer generation CPUs that might be worth considering?
