Hey everyone! I'm in the process of upgrading my PC and I need some guidance. I was lucky enough to receive a Patriot Xtreme 5 32GB RAM with a staggering speed of 8200MT/s CL38 (model PVX532G82C38K). Unfortunately, the previous owner experienced shutdowns, and I suspect their system couldn't handle such fast RAM. I'm hoping to get the most out of this RAM in my build. I mainly use my PC for gaming and as a developer, so I'm looking for a balanced setup that performs well for both. Also, I'm mindful of my electricity consumption, and my GPU is a 5070 TI. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I'm here to answer any questions you may have. Thanks in advance!

Faster RAM tends to be more stable with Intel processors. However, I noticed you're also thinking about power usage, which is interesting because you have an RTX 5070 Ti in your setup. Those cards can be pretty power-hungry themselves!
To truly unleash that 8200MHz RAM, consider pairing it with an Intel ultra CPU and a solid motherboard. If you're going for pure gaming performance, though, the AMD 9800X3D is a fantastic choice, just make sure your motherboard is up to snuff—skip the Asrock brands.
