I'm thinking about building my own custom new tab page for the Brave browser and I'm not quite sure where to start. Any suggestions on how to approach this? Thanks in advance!

First things first, figure out what features you want on your new tab page. It really helps to have a clear vision of what you’re aiming for! Just make a list of things you’d like it to do.
A simple way to create a new tab page is to choose a website as your homepage and set Brave to open new tabs to that URL. You could even make a basic HTML page with your desired content, host it on GitHub Pages, and use that link as your new tab page in Brave’s settings. The content is totally up to you; it should reflect what you want quick access to.
Does it need to be hosted? Also, can I pull in Brave stats into my page?
