I'm really in a tough spot here. I've got this HP laptop, and I swear I've got absolutely nothing saved on it—no files, photos, or even any applications besides Google Chrome. Still, it's telling me that I'm out of storage with 118GB used up, and I can't figure out why. I've gone through things manually, tried disk cleanup, and even attempted a factory reset, but it keeps saying I don't have enough storage to do that. If anyone has any helpful tips or advice, I'd be super grateful!

It could be an issue with a corrupt file system or even your hard drive itself. Have you tried running CHKDSK at startup? It can find and fix errors on your drive. Also, instead of a factory reset, consider formatting your drive and reinstalling the operating system from scratch.
You might want to check out tools like Treesize Free or Wiztree. They can help you locate what's taking up space on your drive. Sometimes there could be hidden files eating up your storage that you can't see easily. Good luck!
I'll give those a shot! Thanks a bunch!

I've tried running CHKDSK too, but it crashes every time.
