How to Open a .RAR File on Windows 11?

I'm new to using PCs and I'm having trouble opening a .RAR file. I've tried using 7-Zip, but I'm not fully sure if I'm doing it right. Can anyone help me figure out how to properly open this file on Windows 11?

Windows 11 can handle .RAR files pretty well. You should right-click the file and select 'Extract', then choose a destination folder. If that doesn't work, it’s possible the file is corrupted or not a valid archive.

You can try right-clicking the .RAR file and choosing to open it with 7-Zip. Another option is to drag the file directly onto the 7-Zip window. If it still doesn't open, the file might be invalid or corrupted.
