I'm getting a Ryzen 9 9950X3D paired with an RTX 5080 and 32GB of DDR5 5600 CL36 RAM next week. I'm concerned about minimizing potential single channel performance issues until RAM prices go down. Any suggestions?

I’m hoping this RAM shortage clears up soon too! It’s been frustrating trying to upgrade with prices like they are right now.
For your single 32GB stick, the best route would have been to pick up some high-performance RAM from the start. If you're comfortable with it, you could also look into manually overclocking the RAM to squeeze out more performance.
The good news is that with DDR5, the performance loss isn't as significant as it was with older generations. You might still see some gains by optimizing settings or tweaking your system a bit.
