How to Remove Persistent Downloads in Windows 11?

I've encountered an issue on my Windows 11 system where the "Windows 11, Repair Version" shows up constantly alongside a Visual Studio 2022 update in the update section. I've tried downloading and installing again, but the problem persists, and it keeps repeating the installation process. How can I permanently remove these updates from my system?

Just to clarify, hiding those updates won’t hurt anything. They’ll just stop showing up in your Update section. If you really want them removed from sight, that’s the easiest way to handle it without diving into possible troubleshooting that could mess up other stuff.

Those updates you see are actually failed installations that are still pending in Windows Update, not files in your Downloads folder.
