How to run cracked games on Zorin OS?

Hey everyone! I'm using Zorin OS and I need some advice on running cracked games. I've been using Lutris to get things started, but now I'm facing a weird issue. When I try to launch any game other than the one already installed, it opens and then immediately closes. I can install the games without any problems, but running them just doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks a lot!

To run games using native Wine, you need to install the Visual C++ runtimes. You can use Winetricks for that if you don't have them already. This step is crucial since both Lutris and Bottles help with this, and Steam's Proton includes the necessary runtimes too. That might be what you’re missing!

Just a heads up, you can't run games directly on a kernel; it requires an OS that utilizes that kernel. Zorin is a GNU distribution with the Linux kernel, so using Wine should help you get those games running.

You could try adding the game as a non-Steam game in Steam and then use Proton to run it. That often does the trick! Just make sure you change the target executable to the game’s launcher after installation.
