How to Set Up an Old iPad with a Newer iPhone?

I'm trying to set up my old iPad Pro, but it's running an outdated version of iOS. After wiping it, I attempted to set it up using my iPhone, which has the latest iOS. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Is my iPad just too old for this process? I even tried transferring my sign-in details, but that didn't go as planned either.

It sounds like you're running into some compatibility issues. When you're setting up a newer device with an older one, sometimes the transfer just won't function because the software versions don't sync up properly. Try to update the iPad to the latest version it can support, then see if you can set it up again.
