How to Set Up Auto Scroll in CachyOS with KDE Plasma?

I've recently switched from Windows to CachyOS and it's been quite the experience! One issue that's driving me up the wall is that my middle mouse button pastes whatever is in the clipboard instead of enabling auto scroll like it does in Windows. I've seen there's an option in KDE Plasma for holding the middle button to scroll, but I want a single click toggle for global auto scroll in all applications, not just in browsers. I've read that this is possible in X11, but my setup is using Wayland, and I can't seem to find the right tools or commands to make it work. Is it really impossible to achieve this setup on Wayland? I've also heard about Linux Mint supporting X11 with this feature, but I'm concerned about how long X11 will be around. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check the settings under KDE to see if there's an option to disable that middle-click paste feature. Sometimes it's tucked away in the mouse settings.

I looked into it, but unfortunately, there isn't a way to completely turn off middle-click pasting in the settings. It seems like what you’re trying to achieve may not be doable on Wayland.
