Hey everyone! I'm working on building my own gaming PC and I'm looking for some guidance. I'm in England and since I can't afford to buy all the parts at once, I want to purchase them one by one. Can anyone suggest where I should begin? What should be the first component I buy? I'm aiming to play titles like GTA 5, Warzone, Cyberpunk, and other popular games. I'd also like to think about future-proofing my build, if that's even feasible. My budget is around £2000, but I know RAM prices are pretty high right now. Thanks in advance!

You can definitely build a PC for those games without breaking the bank—most of them are older AAA titles, so you won't need to spend your entire budget. For your budget, I'd recommend investing in a used setup. Look for an AM4 CPU, maybe a Ryzen 5 5600x, a B450 motherboard, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM; you could find all of that for around £120 if you're willing to go with used parts.
Honestly, if you plan on spending less than your budget, you'll still get a great gaming experience. Just remember that 'future-proofing' can be tricky within a £2000 cap, but you can certainly make wise choices that keep upgrades in mind. Start with the GPU if you want immediate performance benefits.
Forget DIY, just send me the money and I'll get it done for you! 😉
