I'm getting this frustrating message every time I try to open zipped folders on my external HDD: "Opening these files might be harmful to your computer." Even when I click 'yes' to proceed, it still pops up, and it's become really annoying. This issue started happening recently for no clear reason. Is there any way to completely stop these interruptions?

This issue is related to a recent Windows 11 security update that introduced extra protections for files not originating from your computer. I totally get how annoying it can be!

Oh that makes sense. It's super frustrating though, especially when I also get messages like "the publisher could not be verified" for executable files. Is there a way to disable all these warnings?
