I'm curious about the performance of RTX 5000 series graphics cards on Linux. Specifically, how are the drivers holding up? Are there any issues like stuttering? I know that AMD tends to run more smoothly on Linux, but I'd like to hear if the drivers for the 5000 series are better this time around.

The RTX 5000 series performs similarly to other Nvidia series. The open-source Nvidia driver is a solid choice. Just keep in mind that common Nvidia issues on Linux still exist, such as performance drops in DX12 and some suspend problems, although those are mostly fixed now, even on laptops.

I haven't been able to get the suspend feature to work at all.
